St Paul de Vence Villa Summary

This lovely Provencal style house was only built 9 years ago yet it has a charming feel to it and comes complete with modern amenities including air-conditioning in the bedrooms. The delightful master bedroom with its en suite bathroom is situated on the ground floor and it has its own outdoors terrace. There is a small apartment (could sleep 2 guests), separate laundry and playroom in the basement which is a very large area. The first floor houses two more bedrooms, one of which has its own terrace - perfect for private sunbathing and with stunning views of St. Paul de Vence. The garden with its beautiful pool surrounds the house on three sides. It was designed in a Japanese style with palm trees, as well as grapes, fig and fruit trees. Jasmine grows in 7 large pots on the 2 terraces which are ideal for outdoor eating. The house is protected by a linked alarm system and an electric gate . The garden and pool are both very well maintained and perfect for long, sunny days.

The house is located 20 minutes from Nice airport, up in the beautiful hills of St Paul de Vence. From the house you can see stunning panoramic views of the ancient village of St. Paul. La Colle itself is a quiet, unspoilt village with local shops and cafes. There are excellent restaurants, art galleries and tennis courts are also available to play on. There are some lovely walks and bike tracks in the surrounding area and bikes can be hired however a car is recommended, for large food shops and trips further afield.

St Paul de Vence Villa Rates

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

  • We would prefer to have minimum of two weeks stay. A security deposit of £1000 will be required.
    A 25% deposit will be required before a booking can be confirmed (non refundable if booking cancelled within 12 weeks of rental commencement date)
    Prices exclude compulsory cleaning and laundry charge of E 100 payable in cash to our managing agent. A French short term letting agreement will be sent to you. A professional reference on headed notepaper will be required.

Notes: There is regular cleaning service and the gardener and the man who looks after the pool visit regularly. We have many maps and guide books in the house as well as a list of all the local restaurants. There are books in the basement and we invite guests to leave their paperbacks for our next visitors. There is white china and cutlery for 8 people although the house sleeps 6 comfortably. Extra accommodation can be provided in the apartment and the games room in the basement. There are tennis courts in La Colle. 2 good supermarkets in the area - just a short car journey away and some wonderful bakeries.

There are golf courses nearby but a particularly nice one in Mougins which is about 40 minutes drive away.

The ski slopes at Isola are only 1 hour's drive away.

We have a detailed house instruction leaflet that explains how everything works and also lists important telephone numbers.
