Wawel castle and the former Jewish section of Kazimierz (Schindlers List was shot there) is less than 25 minutes by foot.Numerous atmospheric cellar bars and restaurants are 5 minutes walk away .The UNESCO sight of Wieliczka salt mines is 30 minutes away and Auszwitz an hour away by bus or train (Krakow mainline station is 25 minutes walk away from apartment.

Notes: The apartment is in a newly renovated pre-war block on a quiet road (ul Konarskiego)and is located on the 4th floor but this is reflected in the cheaper rental.The kitchen has seating for 4.An iron and board is provided as well as a hairdryer. There are beaches (both textile and naturist ,would you believe !) near the Balice airport at the Kryspynow lakes (aprox 10 km). A general information sheet will be left for your disposal with useful telephone numbers and a map of Krakow so you won't get lost on the way back to the apartment !

The wonderful skiing resort of Zakopane is 90 minutes drive away and is a great town to visit all year round.Buses regularly leave for the town from the the central depot next to the train station.Details on your arrival will be made available.
