- We are required by the county to charge a 4% lodging tax. In addition, a refundable deposit of $300 is required. Deposit will be fully refunded upon guest departure if (1) no smoking has occurred on premises , (2) no damage has occurred to premises / furnishings, and (3) guests have cleaned and left the premises as they found them (vacuumed, dishes washed, perishable food thrown away, etc.) or a $50 cleaning fee will be deducted from the deposit. For health reasons, Two Sisters Cottage is a non-smoking, no-pets property. Please note that there are 10 steps from the parking area to the cottage & a set of stairs from the cottage level down to the beach. We have a nice open expanse of grass across the street where you may play frisbee, volleyball, etc., so bring your game equipment. A boat rental facility is located about 8 miles away, or bring your own kayak or canoe; the cottage has a dock as well as a nice small beach with a firepit, so bring your marshmallows too!
