  • The lessee shall, within 5 days (five days) of the reservation being confirmed, send back the reservation form together with payment to Propriétés du Luberon of a deposit of 30% (thirty per cent) of the rent due. The reservation agreement shall only be valid following confirmation of the reservation by the agency, filling in and signing of the reservation form and payment of said amount. A photocopy of the lessee’s identity card or passport is required.
    The balance of the rent shall be paid one month prior to arrival in the premises. Should the reservation be made within this time limit, the entire rent shall be paid upon reservation by bank transfer to the account of Propriétés du Luberon (any transfer charges to be paid the lessee)..
  • Renting periods may not be extended without the lessor’s or the agency’s prior agreement. The lease expires ipso jure upon the expiry date stated in the reservation agreement. No notice need be given.
    The lessee declares on his honour that he neither is nor intends to be in the letting trade and that the premises hereby rented shall only be used as a temporary and leisure residence, failing which they would not have been let out to him.
  • The security deposit is intended to cover both any damage to the rented premises and to the movables therein and any service charges and water, power and gas consumption. It is set by the lessor,The security deposit shall be paid back within 60 days (sixty days) of the lessee’s departure after deduction of any replaced articles, repair and cleaning costs and utility bills. The lessee shall complement it should it prove insufficient. The security deposit shall be reimbursed only after reception of any telephone bills.
    The agency shall not be held responsible for any failings of the lessor’s on the latter point. Nor shall they be answerable should any alterations to the rented premises or their environment fail to have been duly brought to the agency’s knowledge by the reservation date or take place between the moment the reservation is made and the arrival of the lessee.
