Notes: Some of the house is 17th century and it has been restored and furnished in keeping with its age. The bathrooms are however completely modern. A cast iron bath, power shower and electric towel rail were added in a 2011 upgrade to the plumbing. The kitchen is also up to date with high specification appliances and specially designed cabinets of locally grown and crafted elm. In September 2010, the farmhouse became the only property of its kind to be added to the List of Protected Structures by Wicklow County Council. Much of the furniture is antique but the interior is generally simple and easy to keep as is traditional in seaside houses.
