Depending on the season this could be your lakefront retreat on the banks of Deer Lake or it could be your cosy base for the perfect ski holiday! In summer you could be windsurfing or sailing on the lake, fishing on this renowned salmon river or playing golf on the Humber Valley Golf course, recently voted best new course in Canada. In winter it is only a short 10 minute drive to the Marble Mountain ski resort with its 35 runs and 4 lifts, equally close to cross country skiing venues or using it as your base to go skidooing in the Gross Morne National Park. Newly built, this luxury chalet is the perfect base for your activity holiday in Newfoundland. The famous Humber Valley resort is only a couple of minutes walk away, with its golf course and choice of restaurants with the historic Strawberry Hill Hotel with its superb restaurant is only 3 minutes drive away. Further choice is provided in the nearby town of Pasadena or City of Corner Brook.

A lakefront ski chalet? Yes! The chalet is only 10 minutes drive from Marble Mountain. One of the most reliable ski resorts in Canada yet is sited on Deer Lake which is fed by the famous Humber River one of the finest salmon fishing rivers in the world. Humber Valley Golf course is only a couple of minutes away and there are a couple of other golf courses in the area. Newfoundland offers something for every time of year. The ski season runs from Late December till March/April at Marble Mountain, the golf course opens in May time, icebergs can be seen off the coast in early summer with whales in the latter part of summer and who could miss out on that magic season, Fall, when the leaves change colour in September/October. There is abundant wildlife (Moose, Caribou, Black Bear), great fishing, watersports on the lake and some of the most unspoilt countryside that you could find anywhere with unique environments like the Gross Morne National Park and Bay of Islands.
