Please Note: We have a three night minimum stay year round and during the summer months we only do Saturday to Saturday rentals. Also, for all US and Canadian holidays, the minimum stay policy may vary. US holidays include New Years Day, Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Canadian holidays to include New Years, Family Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, Labour Day, Thanksgiving Day, Rememberance Day, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day.
Cancellation policy: 45 days prior to start of rental period, all rental & applicable tax fees, as well as security or Damage Protection Policy fees paid will be returned to the Guest. In the event Guest requests cancellation more than 15 days prior to start of rental period, but less than 45 days prior to start of rental period, half of all rental and applicable tax fees, as well as any security - HOWEVER, if Owner finds replacement guest for dates reserved by cancelling guest, Owner will return all fees paid by original guest, as long as replacement guest’s fees cover original guest’s fee. If replacement guest’s fees cover a portion of original renter’s fees, that portion will be fully refunded. Where applicable, the return of funds by the landlord will be made within 30 days of notice of cancellation.
Damage Protection Policy ($75)covers accidental damages to the home’s furniture, appliances, electronic devices, windows, doors, and any of the homes's resource which enables the rentability of the cabin. Smoking inside the home is absolutely forbidden, as is the dropping of cigarette butts outside. Damages caused by pets are not covered by Damage Protection Policy, and must be covered by guest during their stay. Damages shall not include Cabin resources, such as furnace or hot water heater, unless there is clear evidence of tampering.

- All the bathrooms have their own unique style, colors & were custom built for this amazing home. The main level bathroom offers a custom tile shower in pleasing colors with glass doors. The second floor bathroom offers a beautiful tile shower w/ glass doors & tile floors. The lighting is effective & an eye catching scheme offering recessed lighting in the shower, & an exhaust fan with a main light. Detailed lighting is above the vanities & mirrors. The fixtures are all immaculate and simple to use. The water pressure is amazing in each and every bathroom. The lower level bathroom offers the soothing comfort of a steam bath/shower that makes the rest of the world fade away. The steam shower has 12 acupuncture body message jets, digital control panel with a remote control, aromatherapy, rain forest shower head, radio/CD, seating, telephone, sliding doors and more. Wet steam baths have been used for cleansing, relaxation & detoxification. You will love it!

- Every bedroom has its own unique color & decor offering all of the comforts of your own home. The beds are comfortable & inviting for a great night’s sleep under beautiful, warm quilts. Each of the beds offers ample pillows for your sleeping enjoyment (4 pillows per bed). For the chilly nights we have an extra blanket just for you. The rooms have ceiling fans installed to provide you with a little extra air circulation. The two bedrooms on the top two floors will also feature A/C units during the summer months, starting in 2013. Each room is equipped w/ central lighting in the ceiling. The lighting allows brightness for grooming, reading, etc. The table-side lamps provide the ability to offer a softer lighting affect for watching TV or relaxing. The rooms are equipped with a flat screen TV, & satellite to watch all your favorite shows. In every room there is a closet with plenty of wooden hangers for your use. There is also an extra blow up queen size bed & crib for your use.

The home is maintained in immaculate condition with a handyman service that keeps the property in perfect condition at all times! The handyman service is onsite and should problems arise your issues will be taken care of promptly. Todd and Kim take pride in their home and want to make sure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
Lookout Mountain Chalet was built by local craftsmen w/ locally milled lumber. The home also has synthetic green siding. Durable siding reduces demand for harvesting & extracting raw materials & reduces waste. Lookout Mountain Chalet also has a solar water heater.
