There is a fresh fish market every Friday and a general market on Sundays throughout the year. A tea dance on the river bank takes place every Sunday during the summer. Canoes and kayaks can be hired, and there are many beautiful walks and mountain bike routes, some short and easy, others long and challenging. One and two week fishing licences are available.
