Beechwood Lodge is part of a lovely Cotswold country house just 3 miles north of Cirencester and set in the Churn valley with an acre of garden and natural woodland. Cirencester is the 'capital' of the Cotswolds and is a lovely country town. It is just 20 minutes from Cheltenham, with it's well known shopping paradise, Montpellier and 20 minutes from the arboretum at Westonbirt. It is also close to Gloucester with its beautiful Cathedral and Premiership rugby team! The Cotswolds is, of course, home to the 'royals and famous', from Prince Charles to Liz Hurley! Cirencester Golf Club is 5 minutes away, and the Cotswold Water Park is less than 15 minutes drive where you can water ski, sail, fish, cycle, walk, or even play on the sand at Keynes Country Park. Antique lovers have Tetbury on the doorstep and there are the lovely Cotswold villages of Bibury and Burford close at hand.
