Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.
- Deposit and Cancellations
- A non-refundable deposit is due upon booking. This deposit shall equal 25% of the gross rental amount plus sales tax. The remaining balance of the of the agreed upon rental amount plus sales tax and any other charges (i.e. pool heat) is due 8 weeks prior to your arrival date. If you fail to make the final payment within 8 weeks before your arrival date you may lose your booking and your deposit.
Any cancellation of your reservation will result in the loss of the 25% deposit. Cancellations within 8 weeks of your arrival date will result in the loss of 50% of the total rental and fees amount (i.e. rent, sales tax, pool heat). Cancellations within 2 weeks of your arrival date will result in the loss of 100% of the total rental amount and fees (i.e. rent, sales tax, pool heat). No Smoking allowed inside the villa.
No Pets allowed. - We have a management company that takes care of our home for us and if there are any problems during your stay, they will try to fix the problem as soon as possible. Our home is well maintained but unexpected things may happen during your stay. We will try to get them fixed as soon as possible but we don’t refund rent due to for example, one broken TV or the pool heat not working (although we will refund any money paid for pool heat in this case). Also, please note that Florida can and does get quite cold in the winter and there are times that the pool heat, even though working properly, will not be able to stay at a level that is comfortable for swimming. The pool heating system can usually keep the pool warm enough to swim but when Florida has night after night of weather in the 20s or 30s, it takes awhile for it to heat back up.
