Check-Out Time: 10:30 AM - Please be aware that in the winter months, roads in our area can become treacherous very quickly and it is important that you be aware of the possibility of needing 4WD and/or chains when travelling higher in the mountains. However, since Gentry's Rest Stop is located at a lower elevation and we are considered to be easy access, we suggest 4WD in winter but chains are not as necessary unless there is a blizzard or heavy snow and/or ice. Please be prepared when visiting this area in winter. You WILL NOT receive a refund if you cannot make it to Gentry's Rest Stop due to road conditions that are weather related. We strongly suggest purchasing travel insurance through Travel Guard or another rental insurance program that can be researched on the internet. This would cover the cost of your trip should the weather keep you from continuing or completing your trip.
