Brand new apartment finished to a high standard with all facilities. Set in a spa resort at the foot of the Champery telecabin with easy access to the Portes Du Soleil ski area. It also benefits from indoor and outdoor swimming pool and leisure facilities all year round with mineral water coming out of the rocks at 34 degrees. The landscaped grounds also have tennis courts, restaurant and bar facilities available. There are also many mountain walks of varying grades or mountain biking trails and an equestrian centre to occupy more athletic souls. There are golf courses around the towns of Martingy and Monthey both within easy reach by local shuttle train up or down the mountain. Lac Leman is also a short train or car ride from the village as is Montreux both provide ample leisure pursuits both on and off the lake, particularly during film week. Chamonix and Lac Emosson (dinosaur footprints) are days out by train from the end of the road or car.

This small Spa resort has all amenities close to the town of Champery. A small mountain train runs between Monthey and Champery, linked to the Portes du Soliel ski area. It is a quiet resort with good access to both the mountains and the Rhone valley. From here you can easily reach Geneva, Verbier, Evian, Montreux, Villars and northerm Italy either by road or rail. It is a spectacularly beautiful part of french speaking Switzerland with mountain walks, ski runs of all colours and cycle paths crossing the surrounding peaks. It is easy to explore the hinterland and discover Chamonix, Martingy, Sion, Gstaad, Roches de Naye or the Chamonix valley. Equally if you require a relaxing break you can sit and relax in local bars and friendly cafes as the mood takes you. There is plenty to chill and enjoy in the resort itself without leaving the site, with a good restaurant and bar and swimming both indoor and outdoor with waters at around 33 degrees all year.

Although there are other options in the local village as well as in the towns of Monthey and Champery which are easily accessed by car or local train. The train being very reliable and a scenic route which will add to any meal.

A washing machine and drier is available to guests in the cave below the apartment and a small fee is charged for this facility should you wish to use it. Although there is an iron and board available for use in the apartment.

  • This brand new apartment in a traditional Swiss chalet style apartment block offers luxury accommodation for up to 4 people all year round. The facilities are set in a new spa resort close to the Champery ski station, which is one stop up the valley on the small mountain train. The apartment offers a large airy south facing bedroom with patio doors to the balcony, and a large double bed. With a sofa bed in the lounge and patio doors onto the balcony apartment sleeps up to four people with ease. All cleaning, bedding and towels are provided and are changed for on each new arrival, this is in addition to the apartment rental and is currently SF80. Laundering/drying facilities are on site and the apartment has an iron and hairdryer for general use. Ample storage facilities are provided in the bedroom and the main apartment to hold belongings during your stay. Storage for skis, bikes and boots in the basement. Undercover car parking is available at an additional cost SF8 per day.

Notes: This spacious apartment is on the top floor of the block and is light and airy. It affords excellent facilities to anyone looking for ease of indoor entertainment. There is a Spa Resort at the foot of the block it is in addition to the facilities mentioned above and is charged in addition. Current entry costs are in negotiate for the new season and not available at present (Novemebr opening). This will include a therapy centre and beauty centre with a variety of differing treatments. There is also a fitness centre as well as two swimmining pools indoor and out withing landscaped grounds which the apartment overlooks. Views up the valley are stunning and the hinterland is easily accesible by either car or train which runs 1/2 km up the road. There is access to Les Crosets and Planachaux from the top of the road via a Post Bus which runs regularly during the season alternatively there is the train to the telepherique at Champery which connects also with the Portes du Solieil ski area

Tourist attractions: This apartment is ideally placed for a leisurely break all year round. The region offers plenty to see and do for families with attractions for children close by. The Steam Parc at San Gingolph, fishing in Lac Leman, walking or watching the marmottes at Roches De Nahe, exploring the salt mines at Bex or climbing up to Lac Tanay. Alternative there are many cultural attractions in Martigny and Monthey as well as the Roman remains and ampthitheatre in Martigny A visit to the many glaciers and the dinosaur footprints at Lac Emosson are always popular too. The Chamonix valley is also popular for mountain biking and whitewater rafting. Alternatively there is always the option of a quick shopping trip over the Italian border if you like travelling over the mountain pass down the Aosta valley to Turin. These are but a few of the the many attractions that await guests coming to this part of Switzerland out of the winter season.

Ski: This apartment is close to the Champery Ski Telepherique, being one stop down the line on the mountain railway. There is also a ski bus service which is also included in the lift ass fee. This runs from the village of Villle D'illiez up to Le Croset during the winter season. Both access the extensive ski region of the Portes du Soliel on the Swiss French border and offer some of the best skiing at altitude in the region. There are a range of runs from beginner slopes to more challenging black runs which a good range of bars and restaurants to choose from for those wishing to take it at a more leisurely pace. The apartment offers ski lockers and drying facilities for ski wear as well as excellent swimming facilities both indoor and outdoor with the added benefit of the mineral spa waters to swim in should you feel so inclined. There is also a bar and restaurant on site if you wish to book for meals after a long day on the slopes.
