Location
This villa is ideally located in the town center of Monterchi, a medieval town that was dedicated to Hercules during the Roman times. Dating back to the year 1095, Monterchi has shops, restaurants, markets, a bank, a post office, and several notable and interesting churches. Perhaps the town is most famous for Piero della Francesca?s extraordinary fresco, the Madonna del Parto, painted in 1459 and now displayed in a primary school of the commune, also considered a museum. During the summer months, the museum hosts open-air concerts of classical music every Wednesday night on the gardens. Also in Monterchi is a Polenta Festival held every September where visitors can taste local recipes and learn about local traditions. Arezzo, the charming town used as the backdrop for Roberto Benigni's "Life is Beautiful," is about a half an hour drive away and is perfect for a day trip. Once one of the most important Etruscan cities, today Arezzo is beautiful for an array of architecture spanning centuries, from Etruscan ruins to the Roman amphitheatre and the Medici Fortress. The first weekend of each month brings a popular antique fair, while annually there is a festival called "Joust of the Saracens," where all of the citizens dress in medieval attire and knights representing each part of the city charge at a target representing a Saracen king. The area is also well situated for day trips throughout Tuscany to places such as Cortona, Perugia, and Florence.

Exterior Description
(1200m2) Built in the 16th century when Tuscany was still dominated by the Medici, this villa is situated along the ancient medieval walls of Monterchi. The terrace garden, which shares its wall with Casa del Villaggio, lies on these ancient medieval walls and contains oak trees, fruit trees, plants, roses, and other beautiful flowers. In the center of the garden is an illuminated fishpond with a fountain. There is also a gazebo furnished with a table and chairs and a private swimming pool (4m x 9m), which is surrounded by sun loungers.

Ground floor: After entering from the village piazza, you will reach a sitting area with a couch and several chairs. There are two bedrooms on this floor. The first bedroom has two 85 cm single beds, which can be connected on request, and an ensuite bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower. The second bedroom has a 180 cm king-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower. There is a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer next to the entrance.
First floor: There are two living rooms on this floor. The first living room is smaller but has a couch, piano, and satellite TV. The second living room has a fireplace and a dining area with a table and chairs. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, microwave, and dishwasher. There are three bedrooms on this floor. The first bedroom has a 180 cm king-sized bed with an ensuite bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower. The second bedroom has two 85 cm single beds and an ensuite bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower. The third bathroom has two 85 cm single beds. There is a third bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower.
