Location
These two villas are located just a short drive from Foiano della Chiana-- in fact a two-lane paved road running behind the property will take you there easily. In Foiano, you'll find both historic sights and practical necessities, not to mention some great restaurants! There are several historic churches and palazzos to see, and you can do all your grocery shopping here. Foiano is most well known for its annual carnival, dating back to 1539, which features floats made of paper mache. The event occurs on the four Sundays of February. Another local town you'll want to visit is Cortona, a medieval jewel built high on a hillside with amazing views over the surrounding valley. Here there are numerous shops and restaurants arranged around a town square, along with a number of churches and a museum. No doubt you'll want to take a day trip to Siena, found to the west, where you can spend an afternoon enjoying the ancient walled city and do some serious shopping. Other local delights include Arezzo, Assisi, Perugia, and the shoreline towns of Lake Trasimeno.

Exterior Description
These two lovely villas stand side-by side next to their own gravel parking area. At the back of the villas the local road runs by, but it is not very busy. In the opposite direction, the villas face an absolutely stunning countryside view of rolling, vine-covered hills. A huge grassy lawn slopes down to the private swimming pool, which is surrounded by a large patio with lounge chairs and sun umbrellas. There are several areas, both adjacent to the villas and in the garden, equipped for outdoor dining. Flowers in traditional pots are scattered throughout the property.

Interior Description
Newly restored, these two villas are just as beautiful on the inside as they are outdoors. Equipped with brand new fixtures and antique furnishings of excellent quality, everything is spotless.

Villa Giola (200 m2)
Ground Floor: This villa has a living room with a fireplace, a comfy couch, and armchair. Behind the sitting area is a dining table for ten people. The kitchen area is located through an archway, well-equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, cook-top, oven, toaster, and American coffee maker. This floor also has the master bedroom with a 160 cm queen-size bed and an en suite bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower.
First Floor: Upstairs there are three more bedrooms. The first and second rooms each have a 160 cm queen-size bed and an adjacent bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower. The third bedroom has a 160 cm queen-size bed and a bathroom with a sink, toilet, shower, and bathtub.

Villa Lapo (150 m2)
Ground Floor: This independent stone house opens into a large, open living/dining room with a sofa and comfortable chairs. There is also a long wooden table for eight. The separate kitchen is equipped with everything you could need: a dishwasher, microwave, cook-top, oven, toaster, and American coffee maker. There are also two bedrooms on this level, each with a 160 cm queen-size bed. They share a bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower. This bathroom also contains a washing machine.
First Floor (at garden level): This level has another living room, along with a dressing room and a guest WC (sink and toilet). Second Floor: Accessible either by external or internal staircase, this level has two bedrooms. The first has a 160 cm queen-size bed and an adjacent bathroom with a sink, toilet, and Jacuzzi shower. The second has two single beds and a bathroom with a sink, toilet, and Jacuzzi shower.
