This Tuscany house is located in the Val di Chiana bordering Tuscany and Umbria near the village of Farneta. The closest city, Cortona is a short 15 km drive. Sitting in the center of the triangle formed by Arezzo, Siena, and Perugia, as well as being near Lake Trasimeno and the Appenines, Cortona is both ideally located for day trips and a sparkling gem of the region. In Cortona there is no end to picturesque streets and amazing historic buildings. Tour frescoed churches from the 13th century; explore the original city walls; see an art exhibit in the 16th century fortress. You can also visit the local museums and libraries, tiptoe around ancient monasteries and tombs dating back to the second century B.C. Exterior Description
(3000 m2) Dating back to the 18th century, this hilltop country house was originally the outbuilding of a villa. From the house, there are views of wheat and sunflower fields, olive groves, and cypress trees. Designed in traditional Tuscany style, this accommodation has a shared swimming pool (12m x 6m) with lounge chairs and sun umbrellas. The pool is shared with the owners. There is also a private patio with a table and chairs for ?al fresco? dining, a barbecue and garden for guest use only. There is outside parking for cars.

Interior Description
(160 m2)
Ground floor: Wood-beamed ceilings and terracotta tiles are found throughout this house. Stepping through the front door is the living/dining room with a couch and several chairs arranged by the fireplace. There is also a satellite TV, stereo, CD and DVD player. In this room is the dining table with seating for up to six. Three steps down from the living/dining room is the kitchen. The kitchen has an electric oven, cook-top, microwave, Italian coffee maker, American coffee maker, kettle, pizza oven and access to an outdoor terrace. There is also a laundry room with a washing machine. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The first bedroom has a 180 cm king-size bed (can be separated upon request). The second bedroom has a 180 cm king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a sink, bidet, WC and shower. There is a another bathroom with a sink, bidet, WC and shower.
