Location
This villa is located just outside of Terontola, a small community with a few caffes, grocery stores, banks, a fruit and vegetable market, and a butcher. There is also a convenient train station for easy access to other major destinations. The closest city is Cortona, a lovely medieval jewel situated high on a hill. This city made famous by Under the Tuscan Sun is absolutely beautiful from below... and once you get to the top, there are simply marvelous vistas over the entire valley. For this reason, Cortona is a town for walkers. Streets run either uphill or down, and there are plenty of historic sights dotting the hillside just begging to be explored on foot. A nearby train station (Terontola Cortona) makes taking day trips to other major cities simple and convenient. This is also an excellent location for visiting the lakeshore towns around Lago Trasimeno, where you can participate in water-based activities, shop, or sightsee. Also nearby, Perugia is a city of rich historical traditions and architecture spanning centuries. Just a few examples: ancient walls from the original Etruscan city; a 12th century fountain; the 14th century Palazzo dei Priori; and the 15th century Cathedral of San Lorenzo. The list goes on. Exterior Description
This villa is an ancient farmhouse dating back to the 13th century. Immersed in the Tuscan hills, it is surrounded by olive trees, cypresses, and oaks with a panorama over the Val di Chiana and Lake Trasimeno. Approaching the property on a gravel drive, you will first see the owner's villa. Turning right and going up a small rise, you will come to this villa. The small private swimming pool (3m x 2.5m) is to the left of the owner's villa and up a few steps, so it is about 200 meters away from the villa itself. However, exclusive use of the pool area is given to any visitors during their stay. The garden surrounding the villa has a vine-covered dining area with a table and chairs; also available for use are sun lounges, a beach umbrella, and a barbecue.

Interior Description

Ground Floor: Entering into this villa, you will find a single long dining room. It has a very long dining table for ten people next to a large open fireplace. An open arch leads into a kitchen, which is equipped with an oven, cook-top, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, American coffee maker, and Italian coffee maker. There is one bedroom on the ground floor, with a 180 cm king-size bed. A bathroom has a sink, toilet, and bathtub. This floor also has a laundry room with a washing machine.
First Floor: Upstairs there is a living area with comfortable seating and a dining table. There are also three more bedrooms, each with a 180 cm king-size bed. They share one bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower.
