Location
The nearest village of Compiobbi is located four kilometers from the property. Although small, this charming village has all the necessities nearby, including shops, restaurants, a market, and a pizzeria. Fiesole is located 14 kilometers from the villa and sits on a hill overlooking Florence. Believed to have been founded in the eighth century, Fiesole was later conquered by the Romans in 283 BC. Inside its ancient Etruscan walls are Roman baths, the Roman theatre, the ancient cathedral of St. Romulus, and numerous churches and monasteries, each unique in history and design. One of the best things about this villa is that it is also less than a 15-minute drive to Florence, a city rich in architectural and artistic masterpieces. Visit the Piazza San Giovanni, also known as the religious heart of the city, and you?ll see the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, built in the 15th century. Other marvelous attractions include the Ponte Vecchio where you can go shopping, the Accademia Gallery full of Florentine paintings, and of course the Uffizi Gallery. The train station in Florence can take you quickly and conveniently to Siena and Pisa for the day.

Exterior Description
This ancient villa is situated on a large estate surrounded with olive trees, vineyards, fruit trees, flowers, and herbs. It is situated in the hills making it very private, quiet, and peaceful with extensive views of the surrounding countryside. There is a covered terrace (10m x 15m) with a barbecue, benches, and a table with chairs. An infinity pool (16m x 5m), reachable at the bottom of a stone step pathway, is set in a panoramic location and is furnished with sun loungers and an umbrella. Access to the property is via an unpaved, but well-maintained cypress-lined road and parking is available within the grounds.

Ground floor: A large, furnished terrace leads to the entrance of the villa. There are two bedrooms on this floor, each accessible from the outside. The first bedroom has a 160 cm queen-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom with two sinks, a toilet, a shower, and tub. The second bedroom has a 160 cm queen-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower. There is a third bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower. A laundry room has a washing machine and dryer.
First floor: There is an open living/dining area with a couch, armchairs, a coffee table, and fireplace. There is also a dining table and matching chairs. A library has a satellite TV, and a DVD and CD player. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, cook-top, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, and dishwasher. There are two bedrooms on this floor. The first bedroom has a 160 cm queen-sized bed and the second bedroom has two 90 cm single beds, which can be connected upon request. There are two bathrooms. The first bathroom is equipped with two sinks, a toilet, a shower, and a Jacuzzi tub and the second bathroom is equipped with two sinks, a toilet, and a shower. Each bathroom has a hair dryer, bathrobes, and heated towel racks.
