Closest to Siena, this Tuscan villa is perfectly situated in a triangle formed by Florence, Siena, and Livorno on the Mediterranean coast. Though close to all of these fantastic Tuscany destinations, this holiday villa in Tuscany sits in the middle of rolling hills; views stretch across the rural countryside in all directions. Don't feel that the seclusion will be tedious, however! Within this Tuscany villa, you and your companions will enjoy a billiard room, terraces, and a pool with magnificent views.

Location
This villa in Tuscany is surrounded by magnificent views of the countryside in all directions. The nearest town is Casole d'Elsa, a short drive away, where you can experience authentic local life. Much of the town is brick, giving in a special character, and its hilltop position gives it fantastic views. You can still see some of the old walls, although the town gates are gone (the last was demolished by Nazis in WWII). The most notable building is the 14th century "La Rocca," now the town hall, with its huge stone tower. Other sights include the churches of Santa Maria Assunta and San Niccolo, and the Pretorio and Casolani Palazzos. Nearby Volterra is also a regional gem, where you can truly capture that "hilltown experience" in full. From the characteristic main piazza to the Roman ruins, Volterra has something from every century all the way back to Etruscan times. Wander along the Etruscan walls, dating from the 4th century BC, or purchase your own alabaster memento in a nearby shop. Visit museums, the exterior of a 15th century fortress (the interior is a prison!), or lounge in the Piazza dei Priori, one of the best town squares in the region-- and the site of many historic and often bloody events. There's plenty more to see and do in Volterra, but naturally we also recommend taking a few day trips into Siena, Florence, or even out to the beach!

Broad panoramic view of the Elsa Valley and the Cecina Valley. Absolute peace and quiet. Property of 35 ha with woods and olive groves, ideal for taking relaxing walks. Large grassy equipped areas surround the house with an equipped swimming pool (7.5x15) (1/5-15/10) with jacuzzi bath. Access to the house along 3.5 km of dirt track road not suitable for sport cars.
