When you arrive at this villa, you will not need to travel far to pick up groceries for your stay because there is a grocery store located only 500 meters away in the town of Tavarnelle di Cortona Not much further is Camucia, a village with a train station making trips to other Italian towns simple and convenient. Camucia is small and does have some shops as well, but Cortona is the place to visit for the restaurants, shops, and wonderful views. Visitors are encouraged to go wine tasting, take a Tuscan cooking class, or buy local souvenirs from a nice selection of stores and boutiques. Reachable by car and wonderful for a day trip are the beaches of Lake Trasimeno where you can go swimming and visit the surrounding pizzerias, restaurants, and markets. Arezzo is another possible destination by car or train (in Camucia) and is an old Tuscan city, home to the renowned Piazza Grande (medieval square), several ancient cathedrals, and of course more shops and restaurants.

Exterior Description
The estate on which this property is situated on dates back to the 15th century. The rental is comprised of a farmhouse with two smaller outbuildings directly outside the main building. It is made of stone and brick and there are views of the Tuscany countryside from everywhere on the property. Outdoors, guests are encouraged to use the picnic tables and chairs as well as the private pool (12m x 6m), barbecue, gazebo, table tennis equipment, and bread oven. There is covered parking available to guests.

Interior Description

Ground floor: There is a living room with a sofa bed suitable for one, satellite TV, a glass table with chairs, and a fireplace. There is also one bedroom with a 160 cm queen-sized bed as well as a bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower.
First floor: There is a dining room with a wood table and matching chairs and a fireplace. Two cushioned sitting chairs and a coffee table are located in this room as well. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, dishwasher, and cook-top. There is one bedroom with a 160 cm queen-sized bed and a bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower.
Second floor: A bedroom with a 160 cm queen-sized bed with ensuite bathroom equipped with a sink, toilet, and shower is located on the second floor. A steep wooden staircase leads to an open loft with two single beds and a bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower.
Outbuilding 1: There is an extra kitchen with an oven and dishwasher as well as a dining area and a WC with sink and toilet.
Outbuilding 2: There is a bedroom with two single beds and a mini bar. There is also a bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower. A washing machine, iron, and ironing board are located here.
