Located above the lake on the southern slopes of Engelberg, this traditional stone, alpine ski lodge has been architecturally inspired by Engelberg’s famous Benedictine Monastery. The spacious, elegant interior with open log fires on two floors and exceptional entertaining space, plus its unique private setting are among its key features. As an alpine home it is perfect for parties of up to 12 using all 8 rooms. The facilities as a whole include a total of 5/6 bedrooms 2/3-reception rooms. There is a combination of ensuite and separate shower or bathroom facilities on each floor. We offer a warm welcome to self-caterers or a catered service and will be there to help make your stay enjoyable. The house is ideally suited for two families or groups who would like a large home with traditional alpine atmosphere and awe inspiring views of the alps and the lake.

Romantic stone house situated high in the Alps of central Switzerland located in the snow sure resort of Engelberg. This chalet can be used in two ways, as 2 units sleeping 6 in each or as a whole house with the sophistication and space reserved for groups or families that want a secluded high quality alpine home. The ground floor includes 2 double bed rooms, 1 a twin room, 1 with a large double bed, beamed sitting room with beds/sofa beds, satellite TV and an open fire, 1 studio room with twin beds. 1 bathroom and 1 shower room. Doors from the main rooms lead out onto a spacious secluded garden from the terrace in front of the house with the main lawned garden to the east. Laundry room, ski and boot storage. 1st floor 2 bedrooms, 1 with twin beds ,1 with a large double both with ensuite facilities plus a guest WC. Sitting room, comfortable sofas, open fire, satellite TV, music centre, kitchen,seperate dining room which leads onto a glass enclosed balcony with panoramic views.

Skiing: The modern skiing Engelberg offers 25 various cable transportation systems (cable-cars and mainly chairlifts, some T-bar lifts), 82 kilometres of downhill ski and snowboard runs, 39 kilometres of cross-country skiing. Also the famous 'Kings run' from Mt. Titlis (10,000 feet) to Engelberg (3,000 feet) which is very famous and one of the most beautiful runs of the Alps! This run is 12 Kilometres (7.5 Miles) long and an altitude difference of 7,00 feet! The run Mt. Titlis - Stand can be considered as a difficult downhill run. The run from Stand to Trübsee and the Jochpass-Engstlenalp areas are very suitable for intermediate skiers. The run between Trübsee and Engelberg is ideal for families and for the less-experienced. Today one of the biggest resort event surrounds the much celebrated only natural ski jump in Europe .The FIS Ski-Jumping World Cup sees the best in the world compete for the most coveted title outside of the Olympic Games.
