A romantic villa, perched on a hilltop outside the medieval village of La Gaude. The house enjoys a stunning view over the surrounding mountains & valleys in the Vence region. In the other direction, you can see the Mediterranean sea glittering between the lush green trees. The house is surrounded by beautiful trees & plants where you can pick your own lemons, oranges, pears, figs & almonds direct from the tree. Through the wrought iron gates a beautiful infinity pool awaits. Beside the pool is located a summer kitchen complete with pizza oven, BBQ and sun loungers. The house is furnished with luxury and style in mind. The house contains many typical provincial features including ceiling beams, exposed stone & beautiful tiled floors. The huge fireplace is a centre point in the living-room. Through the large patio doors is a large terrace complete with Moroccan mosaic table covered by a luscious vine. There are 4 bedrooms, all sleeping 2 persons & 2 large bathrooms

Villa Meon is a short walk to the pretty village of La Gaude where you can find a number of facilities for example cafe, boulangerie, restaurants, supermarket, cinema, farmers market. A wide range of shops and a great morning market can be found in Cagnes sur Mer which is only a short drive away. A 10 minute drive inland will take you to the medieval artistic town of Vence, with the stunning hill top village of St Paul de Vence a further 5 minutes down the road. 25 minutes from Nice airport. Easy access to Monaco, St Tropez, Cannes and Italy...In the winter you are only 1.5 hours from the slopes.

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

  • Talk to us about low season monthly rental and discounts for more than 3 weeks during mid and peak periods. Rates are inclusive of all laundry and towels including pool towels; a fee of €200 will be charged at the end of stay clean to clean the property. We can also arrange for babysitting services, extra housekeeping and other services on your behalf. A deposit of 50% of the rental value is requested on booking. The amount of 500.00 Euros is required upon arrival at Villa Meon as a security deposit against property loss and/or damage and unpaid charges. The full amount will be returned by mail within one week of departure.
  • Arrival & departure times. Unless otherwise agreed, the client should arrive between 16H00 and 18H00 on the day of arrival and vacate the property by 10H00 on the day of departure. A surcharge of 50€ will be payable for arrivals after 19H00.

Skiing at Villa Meon: Villa Meon is a great base for skiing. Local ski resorts in the Southern French Alpes are Isola 2000, Valberg, Auron, Greolieres and Limone in Italy. The closest is Isola 2000, about 60 miles and one hours drive (2 hours on the skibus) You can take the skibus from the centre of Nice to Isola 2000 for 29 euros (2007 prices) for a day return including the ski pass. http://www.allaboutnice.com/skipage.html
