Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.
- You are asked to pay 50% of the rent on confirmation of booking, and the balance at least 8 weeks before arrival.
For bookings a year ahead you are asked to pay 10% to secure the booking, 40% by January 1 2013 & 50% at least 8 weeks before arrival.
There is a security deposit of €800 to be paid in cash on arrival, which is refunded minus breakages at the end of the stay.
Rates include:
- A house manager to greet you, answer questions & help you during your stay. She lives off site.
- Cleaning before and after your stay
- Maid service 4 hours per week on Wednesday. (For 2 week + stays, there is 3 hours maid service on Saturday)
- Free high speed WiFi broadband
- Free local telephone calls.
- Ample bed linen, pool towels & bath towels are provided.
- Cot & high chair, on request. - A cook and babysitting can be arranged by the house manager, both are payable locally.
Extra maid service can be arranged, to be booked in advance with the owners.
The pool is heated by solar energy. If you would like it warmer, it can be heated by gas for €40 a day, this also should be arranged in advance.
Rentals run from Saturday to Saturday. Guests are asked to arrive after 2 pm, & depart by 10 am.
Shorter periods and mid-week bookings considered in the low seasons only, price on application.

- The bedrooms are beautifully decorated in subtle colours, each with an en suite bathroom. Three of the bedrooms have extra large (King) 6ft double or 3ft twin beds; one further bedroom has a 4 ft 6 in (140cm) double bed. Two bedrooms are on the first floor with splendid mountain views; one is on the ground floor with French windows opening onto the West terrace & pool; & one is on the garden floor opening onto a sunny courtyard with lovely views over mountains & woods. All bedrooms have electric fans. A portable air conditioning unit is available. There is also a cot & cot bedlinen. Bedroom & bathroom 3 are on the ground floor, all on a level with the outdoor terrace (with no steps) & pool, thus suitable for disabled guests, who are welcome.

The hall leads into a lofty sitting room with French windows along its length, opening onto a wide, south facing terrace with breathtaking views. With its period fireplace, deep sofas, Lucchese antiques, flat screen TV & DVD player, your comfort is assured. Through a wide arch is the dining area & kitchen with striking views of woods and hills. The dining table accommodates 8 people, as does the outdoor table on the pergola-covered terrace just outside. The kitchen is fully equipped to cater for 8 people. With handmade chestnut units & marble worktops, it has two large fridge-freezers, a 5-burner gas hob, gas oven, microwave combination oven & blender. The utility room has all cleaning facilities. The 12 x 6m pool has a hard, retractable electronic safety cover operated by remote control. The pool-side loggia offers a roofed, shady area with comfortable seating. There are 8 sun beds, outdoor tables & chairs & a gas barbecue.
