Siesta Key House Summary
Florida style house, completely refurbished recently. Heated caged pool. Full air conditioning. Private secluded garden. Open style main lounge with 2 seating areas opens up to the pool area via 8 full length patio doors. Large fitted kitchen with all facilities. Small den with chaise lounge and sofa bed in addition to the 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master suite is on one side of the house and the other 2 bedrooms are 40 feet away!
Telephones in all rooms, 4 TVs inc 42 inch plasma and hi fi system. Patio area is fully equipped. Large 2 car garage. The house is situated just 2 minutes drive or 10 minutes walk from Siesta Key beach - far enough away to be quiet and near enough to pop down to see the sunsets. The beach at Siesta Key has been voted in the top 10 in the USA on many occasions. It has the finest powder sand and wonderful safe blue waters. Nearby Sarasota is a cultural oasis in Florida and boasts some of the finest restaurants in Florida. FULL WIFI FIOS INTERNET ACCESS

The house is located in a very quiet sub division about 10 minutes walk or 2 minutes drive from the main Siesta Key beach. The houses in the sub division are mostly single storey Florida homes that have been renovated over the past 10 years. Our house was totally renovated and extended some 6 years ago, when the heated pool, kitchen, bathrooms were all replaced. Only the inside of the garage is original - otherwise it has a new roof, new windows, doors, floors, AC, appliances, landscaping and decoration etc.
The village is 1 1/2 miles away. Sarasota is 10 minutes drive and Tampa is about an hour away. Orlando can be reached in just over 2 hours and the East coast in 3 hours. We are 1 1/2 hours North of Fort Myers. WE GENERALLY ACCEPT BOOKINGS FOR 1 CALENDAR MONTH MINIMUM. HOWEVER THERE ARE A FEW ODD 2 WEEKS AVAILABLE IN JUNE AND SEPTEMBER. CLEANING COST IS NORMALLY $150 PER STAY.

- The bathrooms are modern and the guest bathroom has a 5'6'' cast iron bath. This is unusual for the USA - most baths are much smaller. The bath is also fitted with a powerful shower. The vanity basins are all fitted with Corian counter tops. The master bathroom has a 'his and hers' basin area. The bathroom, lounge and kitchen floors are ceramic throughout. The 2 guest rooms are on the opposite side of the house to the master suite so there is a lot of privacy, and these 2 bed rooms share a bathroom. All 3 bed rooms have their own closets with the master suite enjoying a walk in closet area. All bedrooms have telephones. The main lounge has a 42 inch plasma tv with 200 hours of recording capacity on hard disc. Master bedroom and rear bedroom have independent Direct TV access and front bedroom has a tv that mirrors the rear Bedroom tv (ideal to control children's viewing!).
