Brief Description: This three level, four bedroom home enjoys an extremely private location overlooking the Madison Valley. The home is on 150 acres, and is accessed by a 20 minute drive on dirt roads. Other than the caretaker's home nearby, there are no other homes within sight or sound. The home is artistically designed with many interesting features, including multiple fireplaces, a luxury master bath and lots of outdoor living space. Furnishings include a funky selection of old antiques, artwork and collectibles. Because of this, the home is not well suited for groups with small children. Guests will enjoy fantastic mountain views and lots of peace and quiet at this home. There is a caretakers house on the property also, but both homes are situated for privacy.

Bedrooms and baths: The home has three tastefully decorated bedrooms and an open loft sleeping area upstairs. The master bedroom has a queen size bed, fireplace set up with a romantic candle display, and a gorgeous private bathroom. Enjoy gorgeous views from within the rock wall shower area. Two more bedrooms, each with queen size beds share a full bathroom between them. Then, in the upper level of the home is another sleeping area in the loft overlooking the living room. This space has a queen size bed also.

Kitchen: This fully equipped kitchen has top of the line appliances and amenities. It has absolutely everything you will need for any meal you have planned. There is a nice selection of cookware, serving ware and a good spice cabinet as well. Out on the deck you will find a charcoal barbecue grill and seating for those outdoor meals.

Dining area: The dining area adjoins the kitchen, with a beautiful dining table that will seat your entire group very comfortably.

Living areas: There are multiple living areas on two levels of the home. The upstairs has seating areas situated to enjoy the vast views of the Madison Valley, enjoy the fireplace or ease on out to the deck when the weather is just irresistable. The downstairs living area has a woodstove to enjoy warming yourselves by while reading, or just relaxing.There also is a TV with VCR/DVD player with a large selection of movies.

Setting, acreage, views: Raindance Ranch is located on 150 private acres on the edge of the Gravelly Mountains, above the Madison Valley. Farther up into the mountains, guests may acquire access to the private Haypress Lakes for a permit fee. Wildlife visitors may include whitetail and mule deer, elk, fox, and an occasional bald eagle.

Services available: The rental rate includes a weekly cleaning. Additional housekeeping as well as catering services can be arranged with a bit of prior notice.

Activities nearby: Besides hiking and mountain biking on nearby trails, there is fishing on the Madison River and other nearby rivers and lakes, horseback riding, rafting, golf, tours of Yellowstone National Park, and everything that the towns of Ennis and West Yelllowstone have to offer. Also nearby is historic Virginia City, a place to step back in time, stroll down wooden boardwalks, take tours through town, and even pan for gold!

Closest town and airport: It's about 20 miles to Ennis, 45 miles to West Yellowstone and just under a two hour drive to Bozeman's Gallatin Field airport.

Other details: There is a telephone at the home for guests to use. No smoking is allowed in the home. No pets are allowed on the property or in the home without prior written approval from Mountain Home. The home has a laundry room with a washer and dryer. All Mountain Home properties have fully equipped kitchens, and include good quality kitchen, bath and bed linens, and staples like paper goods, laundry, dish and hand soaps.
