Brief Description: This two bedroom log cabin is on 20 very private acres with Six Mile Creek meandering through the woods on the property. The cabin itself sits out on a meadow with a great deck to relax and enjoy the views. The home is about 1000 square feet, all on one level.

General location: Six Mile Creek Cabin is located about halfway between Livingston and Yellowstone Park - about a 25 minute drive from either location. Chico Hot Springs is just a five minute drive away.

Bedrooms and bathrooms: There are two bedrooms in the cabin. The master bedroom has a double size bed, with French doors leading out to the deck and the wonderful views. Across the hall is the second bedroom / office. There is a double size futon in this bedroom, and another set of French doors to the deck. Both bedrooms have ceiling fans. There is one full bathroom in the cabin with a tub and shower. There is a washer and dryer in the bathroom as well. The home can accommodate up to four guests.

Kitchen: The home has a spacious kitchen with an electric range and oven, coffee maker and grinder, blender, toaster, microwave and all the cookware and serving ware. There is no dishwasher at the home. There is a dining area adjoining the kitchen with a table that seats up to six comfortably.

Living room: The cozy living is situated to enjoy the beautiful views of the Absaroka Mountains, and rugged Emigrant Peak. There is a small television with VCR and a collection of about 25 videos for some evening entertainment. There is no television reception, so movies are the way to go.

Outdoor amenities: There is a wrap around deck with some outdoor furniture for relaxing and outdoor meals. There is a Weber charcoal grill for barbecues. Please note that in later summer, the grill may be off limits due to fire danger.

Services available: The rental rate includes an end of stay cleaning. For guests who stay two weeks or more, a weekly cleaning will be done. Additional housekeeping, as well as catering service, and grocery shopping can be arranged with a bit of prior notice.

Activities nearby: From this great location you can go hiking, biking, fishing, horseback riding, or go to Livingston to check out the art galleries and great selection of restaurants. Yellowstone National Park is less than half an hour away. There's so much to do!

Distance to nearest airport: Gallatin Field Airport in Bozeman is 45 miles away.

Other details: No smoking is allowed in the home. No pets are allowed on the property or in the home. There is a phone at the home for guest use, as well as a washer and dryer. All Mountain Home properties have fully equipped kitchens, and include good quality kitchen, bath and bed linens.
