This old stone house has been renovated from top to bottom to create a designer house with attention and respect to detail that honours the traditional stone aesthetic while providing every modern convenience. The location is breathtaking, with views of the coast looking south from Zacharo as well as olive orchards, mountains and fields. This is the real Greece with luxury on top. The swimming pool is outstanding and just below the house down some neo-classical steps. The master bedroom has a free-standing bath and a four poster bed. The house has terraces on all sides and on all levels. The unspoilt beaches of this coast are 10 minutes down the hill in both directions. (There are 60 km of undeveloped beaches in one stretch alone here. Unique in Europe today). An ideal base to explore ancient Greece or to lie down and do nothing at all!

The region is famous for the amazing history. There are more ancient sites in The Peloponnese than any other area in the world. So much so that sites which would become major tourist attractions on most islands are almost forgotten. Whole cities like Kato Samaki or Lepreon or Ancient Figalea (with marbles in The British Museum) remain largely unvisited except by archaeologists. You are free to wander around alone and free. This is not because people don't care but because they are all visiting even more famous sites like Ancient Olympia (Home of The Olympic Games), The Temple of Apollon, The Epicurean (Vasses), Mycenae etc. This is all apart from the unspoilt coast with 60 km of undeveloped beaches. This truly is the undiscovered Greece.
