Key West Private Home Summary
Built in 1891 is an Excellent Example of Historical Victorian Homes in Key West.
Athenahouse is a classic example of Victorian architecture with crown-molded twelve foot ceilings, authentic Dade County Pine floors combined with modern updates such as central air, heated pool, remodeled bath and washer/dryer. All linens and kitchen necessities are provided. There are two bathrooms, one has a full tub, the other is a half bath with the third bathing area being the private hot and cold outdoor shower. There are three bedrooms, two with queen beds & the third has two twin beds, also the half bath is in the third bedroom. The large living room has all the comforts you might need including a full book shelf & handy desk. The full size dining room opens onto the sunny deck which is perfect for entertaining and relaxing. The soothing sound of the waterfall flowing into the pool will be a reminder that you are on vacation. The garden is lushly landscaped & waiting for you to enjoy. There are chaise lounges along with adirondacks and outdoor dining table and chairs. A perfect place to unwind & while away in our tropical paradise!
Key West is the most unique tropical island that you will ever visit. Our two by four mile island is dotted with historic homes, quaint restaurants and local pubs. Surrounded by beautiful water, Key West is where you will find sandy beaches, great fishing, diving, snorkeling and of course our famous sunsets.
The best part of your stay in Key West will be where you stay. For value and an interesting, rewarding experience during your visit to Key West, plan carefully. If you stay in hotels you are not likely to have much contact with locals and may miss out on the conch (local) culture that is Key West's uniqueness. Of course there is no place better to stay than in Old Town which is in walking distance to beaches, fishing, nightlife on Duval Street, fine restaurants and entertainment.
