Notes:
Small shop on resort selling most basic requirements including fresh bread daily. Supermarkets a short drive away in neighbouring village or close to the medieval town of Obidos. Larger supermarkets in Caldas da Rainha and Peniche. Cash machines at onsite hotel.
There are many local places of interest, including the famous walled town of Obidos. The locals are all very friendly and welcome the opportunity for you to practice your Portuguese. The Silver Coast is still typical Portugal and has not been spoilt with over development. There are many local restaurants to try, a list is in the Villa of our favourites with contact telephone. The club house has an excellent restaurant with very friendly service. The 5 star Marriott Hotel is 3 mins walk and has bars and dining, gym and an excellent spa.
