An attractive, grey stone building, originally stables and outhouses for the early 18th century Westcove House, overlooking the Kenmare Estuary on the southern tip of the beautiful Ring of Kerry. The Stables was converted in the 1960s and its facilities have been regularly updated over the years. All main bedrooms have a view of the sea and the hills of West Cork beyond. It sleeps up to 11 and provides an ideal annex to Wetcove House, making a perfect venue for extended family re-unions, being very suitable for children. It is also available for renting on its own. There is comfortable sitting room with open fire. The well equipped kitchen has a dining table seating 10 and a spacious play area. A large games/party room, artist studio and a recently completed sauna/exercise area are facilities situated in the Stables building which are shared with the House and also approachable from the outside. A large lawn, swing set and a patio provide an ideal play area for children.

  • The Stables is booked at the time of receipt of a deposit of 25% of the rent,- the balance is due six weeks before arrival. Please use booking form on owners website- www.westcovelettings.com.
    It is an express condition of the booking that the Proprietor is not responsible for any loss or damage which may be sustained by tenants or their visitors.
    If The Stables is not claimed by 10pm on the due day of arrival, it will be re-let without further reference to the clients, except when prior notice has been given.
    The Stables must be left tidy. Any damage or breakages must be paid for before departure and Katherine Casey (the caretaker), is entitled to fix the amount due.

    CANCELLATIONS
    In the event of cancellation, the deposit is non-refundable. However, if the balance of the full rental has been received, then this will be repaid if the property is subsequently re-let (less 10% administration costs).
