Things to do - places to visit: The apartment is well placed to visit Siena, the famous Piazza del Campo where the famous horse race il Palio is run twice a year (2nd of July and 16th of August) plus other historic sights in Siena, the duomo, Santa Maria della Scala. We can also point you in the right direction for some of the best places to eat and local food festivals and concerts in the summer. Other places that are easy to reach are: Florence, Arezzo, Monterigggioni, Chianti, montalcino, Pienza and Montepulciano to name but a few... Wine tours can be arranged too.
