Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.
- Our preferred payment is in Sterling, but we also take Euro equivalent. We can also take credit card payments via PAYPAL.
A £250 deposit per week required to book, and at the time of paying the balance (by not later than 8 weeks prior to arrival) , we also request a separate £250 cheque by way of damage deposit. - We ask for a £250 deposit to secure your booking. The balance is due by not later than 8 weeks before your planned arrival date.
The main balance, once paid, is not refundable unless we are able to secure an alternative booking to cover the same period - any costs incurred in doing so will be offset against your refund. When you are considering the overall cost of your holidays, it is important to take into account how much you will save by staying at L'Orangerie - no unexpected additional bills, all the linen and utilities costs are included. - The property is heated by oil, wood fire, and electric central heating, which is run as necessary during the months of October to April inclusive and is already factored into the pricing structure.
If it is necessary to run the oil fired central heating outside this period, we reserve the right to charge an additional £20 per day, just to cover the costs of the oil used, as it is unusual to need it, and is therefore not factored into our pricing structure. All other heating costs are included.

- The bathrooms at L'Orangery are all spacious (some indeed are huge). We supply bath mats and shower mats, plus a supply of shower towels for all bathrooms. All bathrooms have an electric heated towel rail, a supply of hand wash for the sink and at least one toilet roll. All rooms have a stand for accessories etc. and a mirror. The thing our guests comment is that they really value the privacy of having so many en-suite facilities - giving them the feel of having a private hotel room, in a gite, which is not easy to find. There is a potty and a plastic baby bath available in the children's bathroom. Shower and hand towels are included in the price.

- We have a total of 8 double beds, 4 singles & 4 z-beds - 24 possible sleeping combinations. Spacious en-suites, except for the triple single bedroom, which is set up targeting younger children, although they are a standard adult sized single bed - this room has a large separate dedicated bathroom (we were told children and water alone at night sometimes is not wise). Each room has a radiator - either electric or oil, depending on upstairs or downstairs. All bedding is immaculate, mattresses and pillows are protected. We supply all the top quality Dorma linen for the beds. Each of the very large rooms has bedside cabinets and reading lights, wardrobes, chest of drawers and a mirror. Some have ottomans. We have a double sofa bed in the main sitting room downstairs. The cot is upstairs on the landing and is easily located to any room (they are all plenty big enough to take a cot - or indeed several if you bring travel cots with you as a large group with several babies)

Notes:
Large groups need a lot of space. All rooms at L'Orangery are big and airy, with comfortable seating for all.
The kitchen has everything you need for a large group - big pots and pans, plenty of cooking space, with two large fridge/freezers.
We have 2 high chairs, plates and cups for very young children, and for all, a good selection of games and toys for indoors and out. Our guests' children love to play on the complimentary bikes, or in the CLUBHOUSE - a small building at the end of the garden, parents know their children are safe in the enclosed garden - their own special place. Our adjacent field is perfect for ball games. We have 2 large BBQs and ample garden seating.
We have a large library of books and some DVDs for all ages. Electric; water; gas;towels and wood for the log burner are included in the price - no nasty additional bill shocks at the end of your stay. The oil heating is run as necessary between October and April (£15 per day charge outside this period).
