- RENTAL TERMS:
- BOOKING: The rental agreement will be emailed to you. The agreement must be signed and returned with a $1000 rental deposit, plus $500 security deposit within 5 business days of booking.
- REMAINDER OF ENTIRE RENTAL FEE is due 90 days prior to arrival. Security deposit will be returned within 21 days of departure provided there are no outstanding charges. You will be informed promptly if damages are found.
-CANCELLATION POLICY: We are unable to refund deposits for a cancelled reservation less than 90 days prior to arrival unless the home is re-rented for the entire period. However, your damage deposit of $500 will be refunded. Once reservations are confirmed (i.e. money deposited in the bank) any cancellations will invoke the cancellation policy. You may change the date of stay for no charge if it is available. If a cancellation is successfully re-rented, all paid rent and taxes will be refunded, less a 10% cancellation fee - -SMOKING: This home is a non-smoking property. No smoking is allowed anywhere on the property. Evidence of smoking will result in forfeiture of entire security deposit.
- Maine State Lodging Tax of 7% will be added to the total rental cost.
- Personal checks and money orders accepted.
AT THIS TIME WE DO NOT RENT TO WEDDING PARTIES. WE HAVE FOUND THAT THE NATURE OF THESE EVENTS INCUR EXCESSIVE PARTYING AND SUBSEQUENT DAMAGE AND CLEANING. THERE ARE MANY HOTELS AND LODGES IN CAMDEN THAT WILL ACCOMMODATE THESE NEEDS.
