- If you like our cottage please always ask as dates and reservations and prices change on occassion.
- We are happy to block dates before deposits are received - but we do request a deposits within 4 days of the 'date block`.
Rental charges are sometimes negotiable, so don't hesitate to ask as situations vary! However we rent for 28 day periods.
Deposits are refunded immediately the day after checkout.
Our cleaning fee and taxes are not included - but there are no other fees unless damages are incurred.
Our cleaning company charges $100
Taxes - the good people of Sanibel charge 5% and the Governor gets his 6% (11% total) much of this goes towards keeping Sanibel a sanctuary island - the beautiful causeway, the fantastic airport and clean great beaches of Florida.

- Brand new fresh attractive 100% cotton linens for all beds. Futons are 'full size' and can sleep 2 people who really like each other, but better perhaps for 1 person. At its heart the Shellbox is truly a 1 BR however the cottage sleeps 6 well and with 2 bathrooms this is no problem. Please note the steps to the loft are steep and not recommended for disabled, elderly and some younger children.
