Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

• Please Note The Following Important Information:
• A deposit of $300 is required to secure the reservation and will be used as the Security Deposit for your rental period. Half of the total rental payment is due 60 days before check-in. The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to rental period. A Rental Agreement will be mailed to the Renter when Security/Reservation deposit is received and must be signed and returned with the final rental payment.
  
  The security deposit of $300 will be completely refunded within 3 days if the property has been maintained to the same condition prior to the rental period.
  
  Example of Peak Summer 2012 Rental Costs:
  
  $ 300.00 - Security/Reservation Deposit (required at booking)
  $1250.00 - 50% Rental Deposit (due 60 days prior to check-in)
  $1425.00 - Remaining Rental Cost ($1250 + 175.00 [7% Maine Lodging Tax] due 14 days prior to check-in)

• Please note that there is a strict NO SMOKING policy inside of the house. Smoking is allowed outside and in the screened gazebo. A $100.00 cleaning fee will be deducted from the security deposit if the property is found to have contamination from smoking
  
  Please note that pets are NOT ALLOWED inside the premises. A cleaning fee of $200.00 will be deducted from the security deposit if it has been determined that pets have been inside the property.
