THE RESORT

Fota Island is located in the Upper Harbour area of South Cork, just a few minutes drive from Cork City with it's international airport and passenger ferry terminal.  It lies in the heart of a 780 acre estate which is included in "The Inventory of Outstanding Landscapes in Ireland".

Fota Island Resort encompasses Golf Courses, Residential Lodges and luxury Hotel and Spa along with a proposed Marina in one of Ireland's most idyllic settings.

COURTYARD LODGES

The Couryard Lodges are closest to the new luxury Hotel & Spa development.  Ranging in size from 738 sq.ft to 1550 sq.ft, these lodges are a wonderful mix of easy traditional styled exteriors with soft relaxing contemporary interiors, all encompassing the magic that is Fota. 

The two bedroom Courtyard Lodges sleep up to 4 people in two double bedrooms.  Each has 2 bathrooms.

The three bedoom Courtyard Lodges sleep up to 5 people in three bedrooms - two double bedrooms and one single.  The master bedroom is ensuite and there is another shared bathroom.

COURSESIDE LODGES

The entire development has been designed for relaxed pleasure living.  The overall style of the lodges is traditional, with high pitched slate roofs and painted plastered walls or traditional stone finish.  In all there are seventeen different types of lodges ranging in sizes from 738 sq.ft to 2275 sq.ft.  All lodges in the entire development contain a dedicated drying and storage room for golf equipment. 

The three bedroom Courseside Lodges can sleep up to 5 people in two double bedrooms and one single bedroom.  Both double bedrooms are ensuite and there is a third shared bathroom.

The Courseside Lodges are located further away from the hotel (approximately one mile) however they have a great location close to the golf courses and golf academy. 

Every home comfort has been catered for - from high grade kitchens and appliances to in-house entertainment systems.  Oak floors, luxurious fabrics and soft furnishings in natural pallets contribute to the relaxed atmosphere.  The attention to detail is evident in the rich warm oak and walnut feature pieces.  All this luxury is set off by the beautiful Fota Island landscape.

The closest beach from the resort is Garryvoe which is approx 30mins away..
