- The toilet and the shower/bath are in separate rooms. The bath is a Japanese style tub with rather high walls. A good place to soak in but not to stretch out. Outside of the bath is a small utility area with a sink and more towels than one would ever need. The toilet has a modern washlet (spray cleaning toilet) with a heated seat during the winter.

- Villa Okazaki, as with most Japanese apartment buildings, is very quiet and a wonderful place for a sleep either at night or throughout the day. During the temperate months, a cool wind blows from the south balcony to the north through the apartment. This apartment is situated in the best location in the building, top (4th) floor, in the center. The room offers sunlight throughout the day, which of course, can be blocked by shutting the living/dining room curtains to the balcony or by shutting the sliding doors to the bedroom. Everyone has found this apartment to be sunny, peaceful and quiet. The great view, day or night, gives an added feeling of spaciousness.
