Situated between an endless, white and nearly untouched sandy beach and a rainforest mountain range of the world famous Mata Atlantica National Forest. They are built with enough distance from each other to provide absolute privacy. Sao Marcos 1 is a very spacious Bungalow and easily fits 4 people. Sao Marcos 2 is the smaller cosy Bungalow that is perfect for two. They are built in a mix of Brasilian an Indonesian architecture that adapts perfectly to the climate of this tropical region. If you open all the glass sliding doors of Sao Marcos 1 you can enjoy 2600 sq feet of indoor outdoor living, integrated in nature. The accommodations provide plenty of possibilities to relax in hammocks sit in lounging chairs or enjoy otherwise. Both of them are in the same distance to the see and provide splendid views of the ocean. All the furniture is Indonesian.

More than 2000 square feet built mainly from wood. The upstairs shower is outside and you can see the ocean while you take a shower. the nearby village has a couple of mini markets where you can buy the most necessary, or you can drive to Ilheus (30 min.) and get most anything you would expect from a huge supermarket. That's in case you want to cook your self. On the neighbouring property, about 200 yards from the Bungalow there is a little very cosy restaurant, also right by the sea, where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner. Their food is exclusive to their guests and guests of Sao Marcos, a mixture between traditional Brasilian food and Asian cuisine. We can also arrange a cook for you during your stay. Itacare (30 minutes by car) has some very good restaurants as well and provides a very authentic and unique atmosphere. This is the true Brasil like you won't find it anymore in the modern Sao Paulo or Rio De Janeiro. The Houses are equipped with towels and bed sheets.
