  • Bathroom has a instant gas heater for hot water. Since the average water temperature in the pipes is a refreshing temperature on a hot day the cool shower actually feels really good. The hot shower is there for those who like it hot.

  • Upstairs sleeping loft has a comfortable queen size bed on a rosewood frame and a walk in closet, it is accessible only by a ships ladder (Not good if you are not physically able to climb a ladder 8').There is a comfortable futon in the living room which makes into a bed, and the built in kitchen dinette makes into another double bed. Although the cottage is best for a couple, there is room for more if one so desires. There is a paddle fan over the bed , And AC. With the dry air, ocean breezes and cooler winter air temperatures it is pretty comfortable. There is a portable fan in the living area , and a paddle fan over the kitchen/dinette area, and the outdoor lanai.

Notes: Bicycle, car, scooter and kayak rentals are available locally. Satellite TV, AC, starting Feb 1. There is a washing machine but no dryer, in the dry season clothing dries in a few hours on the line, or in the rainy season in 4-8 hours under the patio roof. The maid cleans once per week, or at the end of each rental period. since the home is only 500 square feet it is not a big chore to keep clean. The kitchen has a 3 burner gas stove, a micro and a convection oven. The built in dinette folds down to form a bed for extra accommodation for 2.
