Situated near the midpoint of the scenic Oregon coast, it's all about the water! The city is actually the Dungeness Crab capital of the world. The historic Bay front Area boasts a slew of gift shops, art galleries, and inviting restaurants. The Oregon Coast Aquarium, Marine Hatfield Center, Yaquina Head Natural Area (lighthouses inc), and the wonderful Agate Beach Golf Course, are just some of the wonderful places to visit. The Rogue Ale Brewery sits on the bay too, and has an inviting restaurant. Watch for seals just off the balcony, particularly when boats pull in to clean their catch.
