Carolina Beach House Details
Activities:: The Beach House is conveniently located to the fishing marina, party cruises, restaurants and the shops of Carolina Beach. We are also located across the street from the Carolina Beach Lake that is surrounded by a concrete walking trail and also offers gazebos and paddle boats. The beach is wide and unaffected by previous hurricanes with a life guard stand that is manned daily during the summer months. Some previous guests have enjoyed excellent surf fishing in front of the house while others have gone in four wheel drive vehicles to fish on the north end of the beach.
Area:: For those of you who want to explore the area, we are 5 minutes from the recently remodeled NC Aquarium, Fort Fisher Museum and Civil War site, or you can take the ferry to Southport for a day trip to Myrtle Beach. Historic Wilmington is within a 15 minute drive and boasts many attractions such as horse-drawn carriage tours, fine dining, golfing, shopping, historic home tours, and the USS North Carolina Battleship. Some other attractions include the Children's Museum, Cape Fear Museum, The Bellamy Mansion and tours of the Screen Gems Movie Studios (where Matlock, Dawson's Creek and numerous movies have been filmed).
