The Peaceful Palace: The Peaceful Palace is a home for families. We have a beautiful kitchen and family room combination with a large deck off the back for grilling. There is a formal dining room and living room for your comfort with a gas fireplace to cuddle by and read a good book or to sip your wine and have some good conversation. Off the dining room is a glassed porch with a table large enough to seat 10 .A glassed enclosed sun room is off the living room decorated in white wicker with a game table and plenty of games for those fun filled evenings .Out side the sun room is the Wee house, a tiny replica of the Peaceful Palace and a special place for your little ones to play house. The Peaceful Palace is a wonderful place to relax and gather your thoughts. Our home is filled with treasures and Tender care is expected of its guests. It will warm your soul and refresh your spirit as only a house of this distinction can do.We welcome you.
If you would like to paddle the Platte river and end up at beautiful lake Michigan for a nice picnic, this too is only minutes away. There are lakes all around for fishing, jet skiing, or just plain swimming. Frankfort has a bike path that is called Rails to Trails and is a scenic walking path, as well as a riding path around the Betsie Bay. Our sunsets are breathtaking, walking the beach anytime of the day is refreshing. If you miss the city life for even a minute, Traverse City is only 40 miles away. We are a special destination and a well kept secret. Come enjoy us today, as our logo says 'Frankfort is always in Season!' And we welcome you.
