Owner will make every attempt to re-rent the cottage on your behalf. If cottage is re-rented, all monies will be refunded less the $35.00 cancellation fee.

Amenities:: *Flat Screen TV/DVD in living room. *Fully furnished kitchen includes: microwave, refrigerator, stove/oven, coffee pot *Enclosed Back Porch *Outdoor Amenities includes: dock, outdoor grill, comfortable patio furniture with cushions, sunny-side deck. *Boat Launch near by *No telephone available. *Linens are not provided. Please bring your own linens, towels, beach towels etc. *Bath soap, Dish Soap, Paper Towel, Toilet Paper, Garbage Bags provided.
Activities:: Swim, fish, boat, and explore the sandy bottomed lake via your own boat. BBQ, picnic, relax on the lake shore while overlooking a no-wake cove of this all sports lake. End the day roasting marshmallows over the lakeside fire pit, watching the incredible sunsets and star gazing from the shoreline. The sun shines on the dock on most summer days too! Kalkaska ORV Trailhead just 10 minutes away - 90 miles of trail available and can accommodate mixed motorcycle and 4-wheel ATV traffic. Approximately 9 miles east on M-72. Restaurants and gas just west of the trailhead on M-72.

Guest Book: The weather overall was great with sunny blue skies! While we were here, we fished off the dock and our 3 girls caught more than 10 fish. They were very happy. We also went to Petosky, the dunes, and played at the playground in Kalkaska. We also canoed on the Manistee River and had a blast! The rest of the time we enjoyed on the patio. We only ate out twice and cooked everything else here with our girls! We definitely recommend Shel-Haven on M-72 for canoeing and to see the dunes! Also, the ice cream at the Carefree Cove is yummy!
