Chapin House Summary

This lovely lakeside home is located just a few feet away from beautiful Lake Murray with a wonderful view from your huge window filled living room. The house is on a quiet cove that has some of the best fishing on the lake right off your private dock. (There is a channel in the middle of the cove, makes for great catfish, gar, bass and even brim fishing!) If you have your own boat you can put it in at the Marina just 2 blocks away and keep it tied right at your dock (which has electricity on both ends). The house includes Free use of a canoe and a paddle boat for the entire week upon request! We also have a like new 2004 Bennington pontoon boat you can rent. It is 20ft, has a bimini top, live well, depth finder, CD player, life jackets, pop-up changing room, 25gal tank with 90hp Yamaha motor. It can be waiting for you at your dock when you arrive if you so chose. There are also daily jet ski rentals at the Marina right near the house.

The house is only 5 minutes from Dreher Island State Park so its perfect for fishing tournaments and family reunions. Chapin is only 7 minutes away and has grocery stores and several restaurants. It's only 25 minutes to Columbia, and Riverbanks Zoo, an hour and a half to the beach in Charleston, the Blue Ridge Mountains, or the Masters in Augusta. There 2 beautiful golf course within 10 minutes, one on the lake (Timberlake). There is also a driving range/par3/putt putt place also about 10 minutes away. There's an opera house in Newberry only 20 minutes away. There is shopping and restaurants galore also only 20 minutes away at Columbiana Centre (mall) on Harbison Blvd. in Irmo.

Chapin House Details

More about the house: The house has 3 bedrooms, and there is also a sleeper sofa in the living room. There is a large living room on the lake side with a stunning view and a huge 54' projection TV, w/Satellite, VCR, DVD and CD players. (See pictures or check my website for more info and pictures.) There is another even larger living/dinning/kitchen area in the middle of the house with a fireplace and a separate 27' TV/VCR/DVD

Amenities: There is a full kitchen with dishwasher, oven and full refrigerator, microwave, pots and pans, coffee maker, blender etc. There is a separate washer/dryer room. The house of course has central heat and air. There's even a lakefront bathroom with a walk in shower and a great view of the lake from the jacuzzi tub! I have more pictures available. Email me for them or check out my personal website listed below. The house is now Pet Friendly! All linens and towels provided. Brand new Gas Grill , Satellite TV, DVD player, CD Player, stereo surround, tabletop Foosball and air hockey table as well as puzzles and other games for the kids. Full size washer and dryer, central ac and heat, jacuzzi tub and walk in shower, huge couch and 2 recliners in lake view room, another living area with couch and 27' TV and VCR, paddle boat and canoe included free upon request!
