Kiawah Island Cottage Details
Cottage on Kiawah allows you access to our community pool -just a short walk away. Pools are limited on Kiawah Island and are often restricted to guests staying through Kiawah Resort. Cottage on Kiawah is one of the few place on Kiawah that you can rent directly from the owner with access to a pool. Our community pool is perfect for a cool dip after playing at the beach. It even has a baby pool!
Kiawah Island is a barrier island outside of Charleston, SC. This private island is unique as there is very limited commercial development. Kiawah Island has been closely managed to maximize the enjoyment of its residents and visitors while maintaining its natural beauty. Kiawah Island boasts over 10 miles of pristine beaches. Many visitors rent bikes and enjoy riding down the hard packed sand. Wildlife abounds and don't be surprised by the number of birds and alligators that make the lagoons home. Cottage on Kiawah is a short walk and even shorter bike ride to the beach. To help illustrate how easy it is to get to the beach, we have 3 small children 1 to 6 years old. With all our gear, including stroller, it takes us about 7 minutes to walk to the beach and 10 minutes to walk home (The time difference is due to the energy level of our kids). We rarely walk home from the beach without a stop at our community pool.
Cottage on Kiawah is a Greenslake Cottage is conveniently located in West Beach Village.
Guest Book: We arrived at night and were surprised to pull back the curtains in the morning to such a glorious view of the golf course. The condo is lovely and comfortably furnished. We have previously rented a condo through the resort and were much happier with the Oringel's cottage. With easy access to the front door and a few steps it sure made unloading for our stay a piece of cake. It was a short walk to the beach. We look forward to staying there again!
