Many fine golf courses are in the vicinity of the home including the Ocotillo Golf Resort and Ocotillo Lakes, and you are close to other fine east valley courses such as Gold Canyon and Las Sendas. Your rental includes discounts at the Ocotillo Golf Club Restaurant and up to 50% discounts on golf fees at the Ocotillo Golf Resort for your entire foursome. Upscale shopping is available close by at either Ocotillo's 'Fall' retail center or the Chandler Fashion Mall, with anchors such as Nordstrom and Dillard's and over 250 other stores and fine restaurants.
More about the Area : Spring training camp and other sports venues are located just 10 miles away in Tempe and Mesa, and the 101 freeway takes you north to Scottsdale, just 20 minutes away. Continue south on US 10 to Tucson and visit many of the parks and mountain ranges along the way. The Lost Dutchman State Park in the Superstition Mountains (at 2,000 ft. elevation), Salt River and Lake Saguaro Recreation Area are just about 45 minutes drive to the east. The South Mountain is also just to the west of the Chandler/Ocotillo Lakes area. For local attractions, Chandler has the Center for the Arts, a world-class facility located in its historic district which showcases talents from the opera, jazz musicians, plays and well-known headliners. The kids will want to go to Hamilton Aquatics Center, named the '2001 Outstanding Facility' by Arizona Parks and Recreation, which has a zero depth play pool, current river, two water slides and an 8-lane competition pool. Close to Tempe as well.
Activities: There are hiking trails, wildlife parks, casinos, numerous golf courses, antique shops and beautiful scenic desert attractions, as well as Old Town Scottsdale and many nightclubs and shopping areas located just off 101 just minutes away.
