Activities: Hiking, Boating, Golfing, Tennis, Walking, Fishing, Snorkeling, water falls, submarine adventures , diner cruises and lots of great sites to see especially the Volcano. The Big Island has about 10 out of 13 world climates on the same island. You can experience sand and surf, a cold rain forest and power snow all in the same day.
Area: Our Oceanfront Vacation Rental in Kona Hawaii is only 8 miles from the airport. It takes roughly 6 hours to drive completely around the Big Island and it is larger than all the other islands put together. Hawaii, 'The Big Island', is the youngest and largest of the Hawaiian Islands with 4,038 square miles and is still growing as long as the lava continues to spew out of Kilauea. It has 266 miles of coastline. Of all the islands, Hawaii's Big Island is the most ecologically diverse, with natural environments from the desert plains of Ka'u to the rain forests above Hilo, to snowcapped Mauna Kea.
