- Master bedroom is at the 3rd floor level. A beautiful, private suite with sitting area, private balcony (looking southwest so you can see the sunsets - porch swing and two lounge chairs. Oversized master shower for two and large w/i closet. At sunrise and sunset you see the herons, ibis and osprey fly by to roost. 2nd bedroom has twin beds, reading chair and table. 3rd bedroom has screened porch access, with antique iron double bed, has desk and chair. Home features a good library of Florida authors and reference books relating to shelling, birding and fishing.

BR B Amenities: /B BR The great room features Kitchen Aid appliances with a side-by-side refrigerator, 5 burner gas cook top, microwave, dishwasher. Maple butcher block center island that seats 4-6 people comfortably. Dining area w/table that seats 4, living room has leather sofa, 2 arm chairs and matching ottomans, entertainment center with TV, VCR, DVD and Stereo. Gas Fireplace, walk-in pantry and a full sized laundry room w/washer and dryer. One of the two guest bedrooms has twin beds and the other is a full sized bed. Linens included. There is a screened porch to watch sunsets. There are restaurants in Bokeelia or a short drive to Matlacha (a charming fishing village) to dine or visit one our wonderful art galleries.
James City at the south end of Pine Island for several dining options.
A canoe is left by the canal. You can see eagles, ospreys, herons and egrets galore. Manatees and dolphins are frequent guests in the canal and at certain times of the year you can even catch baby Tarpon off the dock. There are several fishing guides that will pick you up on the dock for either a half or full day. House has a library of Florida related books and resource books for local flora and fauna. Fax machine in the office area in the master bedroom.
Activities:
Fishing off the dock or use the canoe. Boat rentals and fishing guides close by. Take the ferry boat to Caya Costa
State park to go to the beach and take nature walks.
Mans and woman's bike at the house. There is a lot of birding on the Island or drive to Ding Darling bird sanctuary or Corkscrew bird sanctuary both about an hours drive. Numerous restaurants and galleries very close by.
Pine Island is a great place to kick back and relax. BR B Area: /B BR Pine Island is about 45 minutes from the Southwest International Airport in Ft. Myers, FL. Cape Coral is the closest city and is about 20-30 minutes away. Disney World takes about 3 1/2 hours and Busch Gardens about 2 hours.
