The Carolina Sea'Scape is a private waterfront home located in Cedar Island, NC. Cedar Island is the home of the Cedar Island National Wildlife Refuge and a jumping off point for an excursion by ferry to Ocracoke and the Outer Banks. There is a nearby sound-side beach, where you can enjoy the sand and water in remarkable solitude. Central heat and air and ceiling fans provide year round climate comfort. Its two bedrooms and living room sleeper sofa will sleep 6. The living room and adjoining Den with small game table and fireplace offers a great place to relax. A sitting area at the rear of the house provides a panoramic view of the water. In the kitchen/dining area the table can easily seat six and the bar can handle two more for meals. The kitchen is furnished with all appliances, dishes and utensils a cook could need. Outside in the peace and quiet, the large deck overlooks the water and the outer banks.

There you can relax in the hammock or sit in one of the big rocking chairs and watch the birds work the water for tasty seafood morsels. The grounds offer a deck at the water and a grassy yard with plenty of space for all kinds of fun and games - horseshoes, badminton, croquet, volleyball, softball or football just to name a few. Both the front and part of the rear yard is fenced creating a great place to allow your dog to enjoy the outdoors. The sound behind the house is shallow for about 300 feet and is a great place to enjoy the water. Boating is wonderful in this area. There is a very nice public free ramp and beach within two miles of the house. For those who want some ocean time, Atlantic Beach is only forty minutes away or you can take a ferry to Ocracoke and enjoy the beach there. For those who want to do some special shopping, sight seeing or Golf, historic Beaufort and Morehead City are all within thirty to forty minutes.

Amenities, Activities & Area: Cedar Island is a jumping off point for an excursion by ferry to Ocracoke and the Outer Banks. The ferry is only two miles away. Carolina Sea'Scapes is truly a wonderful place for family fun, for friends to gather. This is also a great place for sportsmen to make a home base for their fishing or hunting trips.
