- Spring and Fall rates specials! Please email us with the dates. We do not have a cleaning fee. There is a 50% deposit required. The balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. There is a 90 day cancellation policy. We do need to collect a 6% Use Tax for the State of Michigan. Please note during the summer we only rent by the full week (Saturday to Saturday). Weekends are only offered during our off season if and when available.

Traverse City Cottage Details
Discounted rates for Spring and Fall. Please email us your off season dates. Feel free to bring your own watercraft or rent one from the many boat rental facilities in the Traverse City area. Golf is only minutes away. Hiking, biking, miniature golf, horseback riding, live theater (world renown Interlochen Arts Academy), restaurants, shopping and museums are just a few of the activities you can do just minutes away. Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lake shore Park is 25 minutes from the cottage. World famous Mackinac Island is a great must do day trip. The cottage is very clean and nicely decorated. There are wonderful views of the lake from most of the rooms in the cottage. The cottage has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. There is a double size bed in one bedroom & a double size bed and one set of stacked bunk beds in the other bedroom. There is a full size sofa sleeper in the living room. Enjoy your coffee on the deck or porch watching as each day awakens on the lake. Relax in the large yard filled with flowers as you watch the kids swim or play on the swing set. Our home is on site so we are available if needed. This is a benefit to those times you need recommendations for a nice restaurant or those times you misplace the cottage keys. The cottage has cable TV, fully equipped kitchen (stove, refrigerator and dishwasher) and other essentials (microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, dishes, pots and pans. No Smoking, No Pets. Amenities: Year-round cottage has heat, cable TV, ceramic tile/hardwood flooring throughout. Full-size appliances including dishwasher and microwave. Bed linens are provided.
There is so much to do in the Traverse City area. Some examples are: winery tours and tasting rooms, Children’s Museum, Moomers Homemade Ice Cream (voted #1 in U.S.), Pirate’s Cove Adventure Park, the State Theatre (home of the Traverse City Film Festival), The village at Grand Traverse Commons, Dennos Museum, Interlochen Arts and Performance Academy, Music House Museum, Sleeping Bear National Lake Shore Park, Wuerfel Park (home to the minor league baseball team-Beach Bums) as well as all the biking, hiking, canoeing, and kayaking available in our area. You can Google search these activities or get the information when you arrive at the cottage in our resource book.
Golf: There are many golf courses in Traverse City. The Crown Golf course is a great golf course 4 minutes from the cottages.
