New Harbor House Summary

You measure time by seeing the huge tides that flow into Pemaquid Harbor. Mid day bring the return of the lobster fleet to their moorings. Large Anderson windows face the harbor. Pemaquid Light is 6 miles away; Fort William Henry less that 1/2 mile; Pemaquid Beach with it glistening white sands less than 1/2 mile away. Cold nights are warmed by the masonry fireplace. Pine floors and walls give the feel of a cottage. The cathedral ceiling provides openness. Lobster and sea food is available locally as truly the catch of the day, and can be cooked inside with modern appliances including Corian countertops, outside on the large deck, or locally at dockside restaurants. Shaw's restaurant is just a few miles away, and is a must. You can also catch the Hardy Boat from Shaw's and venture to Monhegan Island, a truly magical place. Golf and fishing are available locally. Often you can catch diner off our dock. Space on the dock for a boat is available free.

Restaurants, shopping and all manners of activity and leisure are minutes away.

New Harbor House Rates

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

  • $750-950/Week
  • A $400 deposit is required to reserve each week of rental. Cancellations more than 4 weeks before your rental time begins will receive a full reimbursement providing a suitable renter is found. All taxes and fees (cleaning) are included in the rental price. Payment in full a minimum of 14 days prior to arrival.

Great Pemaquid Location- Heron Cove Community: BR B Amenities: /B BR One bedroom has a double bed, the other has 2 twins. Two twin aerobeds available. Charming modern, recently renovated kitchen with everything you need to cook. Charcoal grill on the deck. Local phone service is available from the cottage. The large deck has amble chairs and tables. Wood is available by home owner for your use in the fireplace. If you have your own boat, dock space is available for free. A television and DVD player are included in the cottage. The neighbors are very friendly and helpful. BR B Activities: /B BR Ask Peter about a visit to Damariscove Island, Monhegan Island, or a cruise around John's Bay aboard his 32' DownEast Crusier.

Relax in the heart of all Peninsula activities: Pemaquid Light- 6 miles away Monhegan Island via the Hardy Boat at Shaws in New Harbor a few minutes away. Fort William Henry and the restoration are a 2 minute walk around the corner. Excavations from one of the oldest settlements in North America. Walking distance to Pemaquid Beach. Sandy and wonderful. Excellent shopping and dining in quaint Damariscotta is 15 minutes. Wawenock Golf Course-6 miles away Swimming hole- 4 miles in Bristol Camden- 45 minutes north Portland jetport- 90 minutes south

Relax to the sounds of the ocean: Listen to the ocean and watch the lobster boats leave at dawn from your front porch. Heron Cove Community is comprised of several cottages located on a fantastic piece of waterfront. Lots for kids to do- swimming, catching crabs, sea-shell hunting and enjoying the beach. A peaceful, safe community enclave close to everything the Pemaquid Peninsula and great mid-coast area have to offer.
